Kids Recipes: Steamed Apples

My children loves junk food and candies. To encourage them eat more fruits, I get them involved in food preparation to teach the goodness of natural foods. Children can make this very easy and fun recipe in a jiffy without much help from adults. Apples are good for the whole family; it is a delicious way to introduce fiber into your child's diet. A medium size apple has about 5 grams of fibre and this is more than most breakfast cereals. Besides, apples are rich in Vitamin C, an antioxidant that protect your body's cells and keep young bodies healthy.
